re:publica in Berlin is the leading festival for digital society, bringing together experts from academia, politics, business, and culture to discuss current developments in digital transformation.
This year, curATime was part of the event. A special focus this year was the “Innovation Engine Room Germany” initiative, showcasing the strength of future clusters funded by the BMFTR. At a joint booth, 21 clusters and campuses presented their approaches to accelerating the transfer of excellent research into practical applications and market-ready innovations.
A highlight was the visit from Federal Minister Carsten Schneider (BMUKN), who exchanged views with our curATime Deputy Cluster Spokesperson Boris Strilic on innovation funding and strengthening research ecosystems in Germany.
The curAIAlert project, a joint venture of Prof. Daniel Dürr from the University Medical Center Mainz and Dr. Philipp Busch from the Mind Games GmbH further demonstrated how interdisciplinary collaboration between medical research and gaming can create innovative solutions for patient care. Overall, re:publica provided an ideal platform for visibility, networking, and new inspiration.
